The {CFDA FASHION INCUBATOR} is the newest CFDA program designed to support the next generation of fashion designers in New York City. The mission is to help grow and sustain the business of the 12 participating tenants over the course of the next two years.

Despite a natural inclination towards fashion, Sang A’s first profession was not in the industry she now calls home. Raised in her native home, South Korea, she started dancing at the age of 10 in youth dance companies that performed on an international level… and continued on to become a successful singer and actress in the Korean entertainment industry. She released three albums on the Samsung Records label and established herself as one of Korea’s most promising celebrities by the young age of 26. Her love for fashion and accessories, however, was ever-present; she would often style her own music videos and photo shoots by creating signature looks which defined her as a style setter throughout Korea and the world.
